We were so lucky in our first trip to the land of ice and fire. We took 11 days and saw the Northern lights 4 nights. I was researching quite a lot to see when was the best time to go, to be able to see the northern lights, and after a lot of research we decided for the first 2 weeks of November. Everything was still super green or starting to get covered in snow, beautiful landscapes everywhere! We were also very lucky with the weather. We went back another year in April, and it wasn't at all the same, still amazing, don't get me wrong! But it was after the snow started to melt, so everything was looking kind of yellow and muddy. And the weather was really bad, raining almost all the time. But even like that, Iceland is just an amazing country. ❤️❄️
